Sam's Daily Routine
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at eight. He quickly/briskly/slowly gets dressed and makes/eats/prepares a quick breakfast. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is working as a programmer, which he enjoys/finds challenging.
During his break, Sam chats with colleagues. When his workday comes to an end, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Luckily, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
A New Friend
Sam was experiencing a little down. He hoped to have a new friend to play with. One day, while he was playing in the woods, he saw something unusual. It was a little being with bright scales. Sam slowly approached the creature and asked, "Hello! What's your name?" The creature laughed and answered Sam, "My name is Lily!" And so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day laughing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be close buddies forever.
